Fashion Design and Construction

This is a one semester course for freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors interested in Fashion Design and Construction. This course is designed for students who have interests in the fields of design apparel, textiles, and clothing construction. Individual projects using design principles will be used as vehicles to further develop the students’ skills. Experiences may include principles of clothing construction, home decorating, and other entrepreneurial opportunities. Students completing this course will have an introduction to the field of Fashion Merchandising and Design.
