Academic Physics will present a variety of physics topics including one- and two-dimension motion, Newton’s Laws, momentum, work and energy during the first semester. The second semester will focus on harmonic motion, waves, including sound and light, and static and current electricity. The course includes a number of hands-on labs and projects. Assessments for each unit include tests and/or projects. Students should have strong math skills and be enrolled in FST when taking Academic Physics.
