Chinese 1

This course is designed for students who would like an introduction to the Chinese language and culture. Students will practice listening and speaking, and they will also learn most common used characters so that they can begin to read and write simple topics about daily life. They will also learn Pinyin, which is Chinese phonetic system to help typing and using dictionary. And Chinese culture will be introduced, like traditional festivals and Chinese history etc.
