Calculus





This course is designed for the student who plans to take calculus at a collegiate level but would benefit from further mastery of advanced algebra skills. The course will begin with a brief review of functions, statistics, and trigonometry. During this time, students will review topics including factoring, analyzing functions, solving equations and graphing polynomials. The majority of the year will be spent studying topics from Calculus including limits, derivatives, integration, and applications of these concepts. This course will introduce students to much of the content seen in the first semester of a college calculus course.
