AP Calculus BC





This course is designed for highly motivated and gifted students who have earned an A average in Honors Functions, Statistics, and Trigonometry. This course consists of two full academic semesters of work in calculus and related topics that are comparable to the first two semesters of a university-level course. The course will cover the same material as in the AB course plus some additional topics which include such topics as Infinite Sequences and Series and calculus problems dealing with Parametric, Polar, and Vector Functions. Calculus BC is an extremely fast-paced course that emphasizes more exhausting problem-solving. Students are encouraged to purchase their own graphing calculator.
