Multimedia Journalism - Print Journalism

This workshop-based course will provide students with practical experience in the various skills involved in working in the print media field, including interviewing, researching, and photography. After brief introductory training, students will work independently to complete projects in which they create authentic newspaper stories, which may be used in the school newspaper, The St Clarion. The class will not have a set meeting time, but students must commit to work outside the regular school day to cover news stories.
